So let's get caught up to speed. First thing in the morning Thursday, we got the official word on what exactly CTV was planning on offering this fall season. Following the news, the CTV.ca headed down to the MuchMusic studios where press conferences were held featuring the stars of "Pan Am," "Big Bang Theory," "Whitney," "Smash" and Anderson Cooper.

Thursday afternoon CTV.ca joined the press for the red carpet before the big CTV Upfront presentation. Then there was the presentation, which is followed by the big event everyone looks forward to: the party.

After everyone streams out of the auditorium, the lobby was jammed with people looking for food and refreshments, while others made a bee-line to stages set up where fans could get their photos taken with the big stars of the day.

And while some were lined up for photos with the celebs, others were surprised to find more stars hanging out around the party.

I first spotted the "Hiccups" gang hanging out on the floor together, including husband-and-wife team Brent Butt and Nancy Robertson, Brent's on-screen wife Paula Rivera, and David Ingram, who told me his recently grown-in scruff was a by-product of a recent bout of flu. While I was chatting with David, I spied Nancy chatting with her former "Corner Gas" co-star Tara Spencer-Nairn, who is currently one of the stars of "The Listener." Might they be talking about the "Corner Gas" movie? I didn't hear anything.

Speaking of "The Listener," I caught up with the cast upstairs above the lobby, where Craig Olejnik had too grown out a scraggly beard in his hiatus time. My bestie Ennis Esmer was also hanging out, and I finally got to meet Rainbow Sun Francks for the first time! Eat your heart out sci-fi fans and old people like me who remember he was a MuchMusic VJ. Lauren Lee Smith was an absolute knock-out in a hot pink dresses and her blonde tresses tied up in curls.

Back downstairs again, CTV stars were mixing it up and having a ball... I spied Marilyn Denis, the diva of daytime, chat with Lisa LaFlamme, the diva of CTV's evening news, who were joined by TSN host Jennifer Hedger. The judges of "So You Think You Can Dance Canada" were present, including the always fashionable Leah Miller, as well as Blake McGrath, who I didn't recognize at first with his new long hair! Elsewhere, etalk's Ben Mulroney and Tanya Kim chatting up a variety of guests, while CTV Toronto's Andria Case brought a few stars to her cameraman for a few hits for the news.

The cast of "Dan for Mayor" was also hanging out together, celebrating their second season of the series about to hit the air. Not one to be left out, Fred Ewanuick himself had grown out a salt-and-pepper beard during his hiatus. Ironically enough, the one CTV celeb known for his facial hair, Ben Ayres, who plays Mike on "Dan for Mayor" with a trademark bushy mustache, was his usual clean-shaven hiatus self. When I told them all that I loved the season two episode with the Goat, they all approved. You'll have to keep an eye on "Dan for Mayor" to know what I'm talking about.

Soon enough, the party started to thin out, with the customized CTV programming pillows featuring the faces of Nathan Fillion and other celebs scattered around on white couches throughout the centre. It was a busy, crazy day, but it only happens once a year, and it's always fun to have a little Hollywood excitement here in Toronto. I know I had a blast, and I can't wait to see more of the new programs this fall.
