Susie Wall
Susie Wall is every woman’s fantasy best friend – not only is she an expert on all things fashion and style, she’s also rubbed elbows with some of Hollywood’s hottest celebutantes. She’s the one who gets invited to all the cool parties and she can gossip with the best of them. As etalk’s resident West Coast reporter, Wall delivers the best of the west to Canadian audiences, and is a champion of all entertainment and arts coming out of her home province of British Columbia.
In addition to reporting on Western Canada’s fashion, movie, and television industries, Wall has reported for etalk from the red carpets of the EMMY® AWARDS and from the celebrity-soaked after-parties of the ACADEMY AWARDS®. Her wit and youthful charm add spice to any interview situation, whether it is on a movie set or in a fashion boutique.
Despite her success and enviable career path, there are many celebrity careers Wall would like to follow. “Gwen Stefani, but I can’t sing; Marc Jacobs, but I can’t sketch; Kate Winslet, but I can’t act – you get the idea. That’s why reporting for etalk is a dream job because you get to meet the people you most admire.”
And meet who she admires is just what Wall does. During her time on Canada’s #1 entertainment news show, she’s had the pleasure of interviewing Karl Lagerfeld, fashion-forward celebrities Cate Blanchett and Gwyneth Paltrow, Robert Downey Jr., Elton John, Brangelina (yes, together), Matt Damon, and George Clooney. And that’s just the beginning of the list.
Wall has appeared on EXTRA!, CANADA AM, GOOD MORNING CANADA and BRITAIN’S BIG BOUTIQUE, where she has dished on everything from destination hotspots to star style. In addition to her television contributions, Wall pens a weekly fashion feature, “Susie Style” for the Vancouver Province newspaper. In February 2010, Wall is reporting on entertainment news from the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games for CTV.
Born and bred in British Columbia, Wall holds a degree in Communications from Queen's University. She currently lives in Vancouver with her husband, their two daughters and their dog Ojai (named after the spa, naturally).
