Michael Trevino

Michael Trevino plays Tyler Lockwood, Mystic Falls' star athlete-turned-werewolf on the hit drama "The Vampire Diaries."

Already a familiar face to television audiences, Trevino was a series regular on "Cane," and has recurring roles on "90210" and "The Riches." He has had many guest starring roles on series such as "CSI: NY," "Bones," "Cold Case," "Without a Trace," "Commander In Chief," "Summerland" and "Charmed." He also had a leading role in The Disney Channel's "Cow Belles."

Trevino recently won a Teen Choice Award for "Choice TV Male Scene Stealer" for his work on "The Vampire Diaries," and was also nominated for a 2011 ALMA Award.

Born and raised in Valencia, California, Trevino divides his time between Los Angeles, California, and Atlanta, Georgia, where "The Vampire Diaries" films.
