Jordan Clark is Crowned Canada’s Favourite Dancer

After nine thrilling weeks of competition, Canada has watched her rise to the top mastering every dance style thrown her way, and after tonight’s dance-packed SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE CANADA fourth season finale, CTV congratulates JORDAN on becoming Canada’s Favourite Dancer.

After 1.6 million votes were cast on Monday night, host Leah Miller announced live this evening that JORDAN Clark (19), a Contemporary dancer from Tottenham, ON has become Canada’s Favourite Dancer, also claiming the prize of $100,000, and a brand new Chevrolet Cruze.

Fellow Top 6 finalist MELISSA Mitro (23), a Contemporary dancer from Richmond Hill, ON was declared the Season 4 runner-up and also receives a brand new Chevrolet Cruze. Like last season, the runner-up will receive $10,000, and the remaining four competitors will receive $5,000 each from the Ivan Fecan and Sandra Faire Dance Fund.

JORDAN and MELISSA, along with the other Top 6 finalists MATT Marr (20), a Contemporary dancer from Quispamsis, NB, LINDSAY Leuschner (19), a Contemporary dancer from Stouffville, ON; SHANE Simpson (24), a Jazz dancer from Thornhill, ON and CHRISTIAN Millette (28), a Ballroom dancer from Montreal, QC, graced the stage with all Top 22 competitors for the dance-filled two-hour live broadcast on CTV.

After her impressive and strong audition in Toronto, JORDAN, who auditioned for the show for the first time this season, perfected everything from theatre to hip-hop to salsa. Having previously participated in various competitions and working with notable performers including The Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato, Ashley Tisdale and Shawn Desman, Jordan says her biggest accomplishment to date was making Top 22 for SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE CANADA which is will now be replaced with winning the coveted title of Canada’s favourite dancer for Season 4 of series.

Best known for her modesty and ability to commit herself completely in every dance genre thrown at her since the start of the competition, JORDAN has been a favourite of the judges and fans since day one.
