Richard T. Jones stars as James Ellison in the drama Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, which picks up where Terminator 2: Judgment Day left off.

Jones, the son of professional baseball player Clarence Jones, was born in Japan and raised in Carson, California. He pursued acting after college and made his feature film debut portraying Ike Turner Jr. in What's Love Got to Do with It? He also appeared in the films Renaissance Man, The Trigger Effect, Event Horizon, Kiss the Girls, Vantage Point and Tyler Perry's Why Did I Get Married? Jones is currently filming Final Destination 4.

On television, Jones has appeared in several series, including Girlfriends, Judging Amy, Ally McBeal, Brooklyn South, Dangerous Minds, In the Heat of the Night and NYPD Blue.

Jones lives in Los Angeles with his wife and their four children.
