Just over 30 years ago on September 2, 1980, Terry Fox ended his Marathon of Hope outside of Thunder Bay, ON after running for 143 days and 5,373 kilometres across Canada. Now, CTV marks the 30th anniversary of the Marathon of Hope with multiple broadcasts of the new acclaimed documentary and directorial debut of fellow B.C. native Steve Nash, INTO THE WIND.

With the hopes of sharing Terry Fox's inspiring story with a new generation of young Canadians, CTV has scheduled encore broadcasts of INTO THE WIND on Thursday, Sept. 30 in conjunction with The Terry Fox National School Run Day that day. Airing at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. ET, principals and educators are encouraged to have their students watch the broadcast of Nash's documentary as they prepare for their own "marathon of hope" (visit CTV.ca to confirm local broadcast times). As final pledges are collected, TSN airs INTO THE WIND the night before National School Run Day, Wednesday, Sept. 29 at 9 p.m. ET.
