This Fall, CTV.ca is packed with brand-new, big buzz shows and returning favourites. Each of the series on CTV.ca will play in an enhanced 16:9 video player with improved video quality launching in sync with CTV’s Premiere Week, Monday, September 20.

“There is a growing demand and dedicated audience for network programming online, and we are aiming to be ahead of the curve to meet that demand,” said Alon Marcovici, Executive Vice-President of Digital Media, CTV Inc. “This programming expansion is a delivery on our commitment to ensuring that our audience has access to the best shows from across the schedule. Almost every prime-time show, and a fair share of daytime and late night programming, will be available to CTV.ca viewers.”

By the end of last television season, CTV.ca saw huge increases in online video viewership. CTV.ca served up more than 138.7 million video views, up 55.5% over the 08/09 broadcast year.  Once again, CTV.ca saw more video viewers than any other Canadian broadcaster. Online ratings winners last season include THE AMAZING RACE with 54% year-over-year growth in video views, GREY’S ANATOMY with 33.3%, and the final season of LOST, which saw a 53% increase.**
