Toronto, ON (September 29, 2011) –E! announced today that the always entertaining Leah Miller has been secured as the first dedicated host of the channel, which returned to Canada last November. A movie, TV, entertainment, fashion, and celebrity aficionado, Miller will deliver daily entertainment hits to viewers and keep them in the loop about all things Hollywood. Miller’s extensive knowledge of celebrity and relatable attitude make her the perfect compliment to E!, Canada’s pop culture, entertainment and celebrity destination.

As the new host of E!, Leah Miller has come a long way since the audition that landed her a job with Canada’s flagship music station, MuchMusic in 2004. She was most recently the Gemini Award-winning host of “So You Think You Can Dance Canada,” and was also a correspondent for Canada’s #1 entertainment newsmagazine, “etalk.” In addition to her latest hosting duties, Miller has been a five-time co-host of the “MuchMusic Video Awards” and former co-host of “MuchonDemand.” Miller is well-versed in celebrity, having chatted with some of the hottest stars around, including Lady Gaga, Halle Berry, Natalie Portman, Gwyneth Paltrow, Sarah Jessica Parker, Coldplay, Kanye West and Rihanna. Miller was also named one of Flare’s 30 most inspiring, newsworthy women to watch.
